Jon has spoken on military history subjects at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library, Chicago’s Pritzker Military Library, the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, the Atlanta History Center, the World War II Roundtable in Minneapolis, the Metropolitan Club in Washington, D.C., the Harvard Club of New York City, and his son Austin’s fifth grade class. He has done radio, television and film appearances, and his most recent engagement was a return to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library in Atlanta.
He will be appearing on NPR affiliates KTEP (El Paso), and KUSP (Santa Cruz), as well as WABC’s “John Batchelor” show, and speaking at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans (July 16), the World War II Round Table in Minneapolis (October 8), and a variety of bookstores and community centers in upcoming weeks.
